Scalp Spa Treatments Will Not Be Preformed If You:

Pods are less than 24 inches wide- The pods can NOT accommodate any persons over 230lbs -- traditional shampoo bowl is available upon request. The service may be modified.
Have undergone a recent surgery
Have cranial implants or body prosthesis
Experience strokes or seizures
Suffer from vertigo
Suffer from head, neck, and/or back problems
Pregnant
Currently under medical care
Suffer from a communicable skin condition
Matted or Extremely knotted hair
Under 16 years of age
Please make arrangements for your guests and children as our space is limited

It is recommended that you consult your physician before any treatment.

Please review our cancellation policy prior to booking. A $25 fee will be charged to all reservation cancellations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get the Head Spa done at the same time as my friends or family?

Yes, we can accommodate 2 guests at once.

For multiple guests or private parties, please call 636-445-4467.

Please ensure all parties have reviewed our Treatment Guidelines and a credit card is available for a deposit, prior to calling.

Are treatments preformed in a private room?

No. All head spa treatments are preformed within our secluded treatment lounge.

Can I get a treatment with extensions?

Simple answer is, yes! Please be advised that the head spa treatment may be modified to avoid attachment sites.

(In rare cases, slipping may occur. Salon Elite and staff will not be held liable for such occurrence. )

How should I come for the treatment?

Comfortable attire. Refrain from turtlenecks and hoodies.

For all head spa treatments, it is important to note that due to the nature of this water-based service, occasional overspray may occur. Robes are available upon request.

Although, we cleanse the hair and scalp. We recommend you visit us with recently shampooed hair.

Will the treatment affect my color or keratin?

Our services are safe for all types of treated hair. However, the color or keratin may fade during our detoxification process if you had any chemical treatments preformed recently. We suggest clients wait 7 days from chemical service prior to receiving head spa treatments.

Can textured hair receive head spa services?

Our specialists can work with all types of hair -- We do request that we have appropriate access to the scalp since certain types of extensions prevent us from providing a comfortable and effective service.

To ensure best possible outcomes, it is important to provide us with unobstructed access to the scalp. We kindly request that customers with braiding, dreadlocks, etc. consider removing these prior to head spa treatments.

Is a Headspa treatment the same as a scalp massage?

No. Our headspa treatments are water-based treatments curated to foster a healthy scalp biome and promote healthy hair growth. Massaging is part of the service. However, these services should not be considered massage therapy.
